SBI SO full form is State Bank of India Specialist Officer. SBI SO exam is conducted by State Bank of India to recruit officers in different specialized categories.This is a national level examination conducted by State Bank of India (SBI).Usually, the SBI SO recruitment is conducted for managerial posts, however, senior level recruitments are also done through this examination. Candidates appearing for SBI SO exams should have education level upto graduation or post graduation level. The examination is conducted over online mode and this examination is conducted once in a year. The duration of the SBI SO examination is 135 minutes. This examination is conducted in two languages i.e. English and Hindi.

The education qualification required for the post of Deputy Manager (Internal Audit) is Chartered Accountancy (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountant of India with 1 year experience in Chartered Accountant Firm engaged in internal, statutory, or concurrent audit of banks. The educational qualification required for network specialist is a Masters Degree with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university. Candidates trying for the post of Security Analyst should have an engineering degree in either computer science or information technology or electronics and communication. Candidates with MSc (Computer Science) or MCA or MSc (IT) degree from recognized university can try for the post of Security Analyst. Candidates appearing for the post of Marketing Manager should have a MBA or PGDM with specialisation in Marketing or Finance from recognized universities. In addition these aspiring candidates should have minimum 5 years of experience post their education. For the post of Engineer (Fire), the aspiring candidates should have Bachelor of Engineering (Fire) qualification from National Fire Service College (NFSC), Nagpur or B.Tech (Safety & Fire Engineering) from an AICTE / UGC recognized university.
SBI SO Admit cards can be found under the career section of the SBI website. In order to download the SBI Admit card, candidates must login using their login credentials. SBI Admit card will have the general guidelines, do’s and don’ts of examination, registration number, roll number, photograph, name and address of candidates, signature of candidates, date and time of exam, slot number of online exam. SBI Admit cards will also have reporting time. SBI Admit Card is not available in offline mode, it is available only in online mode. Candidates will have the option to download the SBI Admit card in a particular time frame, hence candidates are advised to download the admit card well in advance to avoid any last minute hassles caused by any unforeseen technical failure in the website. Candidates need to be very careful while downloading the admit card, since the SBI SO Admit card will be released separately for different posts. Those who clear the online examination, will be shortlisted by a committee constituted by the bank. Once the candidates are shortlisted they will be called for the interview process.The final merit list will be prepared based on the scores obtained in the interview segment of the selection process.
